Qile Yan (严琪乐)

I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota with Prof. Douglas N. Arnold, as part of the Simons Collaboration on Localization of Waves. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the Penn State University in 2023, under the supervision of Prof. John Harlim. Here is my CV (updated May. 2026) and Google Scholar.

My broad research interests lie in numerical analysis and applied mathematics, with a recent focus on developing numerical methods for solving partial differential equations (PDEs) on point clouds and on investigating localization phenomena in disordered media.
